Here are two reasons not to linger at the table after dinner:

#2. This is really important. When you eat a meal, your blood sugar rises. The best thing you can do is get up and move. It will cause your insulin to secrete and send that sugar (glucose) in your blood up into your muscles for energy. That is the natural process for effectively using the glucose from your meal.
