Health Counseling for Women - Who's Ready?

I specialize in supporting women. For most women, there is  a deep yearning for and appreciation for health and wellness, but lots of confusion about how to be healthy  I help you clear up the confusion by listening carefully to your life story and how it has impacted your food choices and your health.  Have you been running yourself ragged, stopping only for a few quick bites of whatever happens to be close by? Or have you been watching the scale, computing calories rather than considering quality?  Do you berate yourself about your appearance, only to look at a photo of you from the past, thinking you looked good then, only to remember you criticized yourself back then as well?

If you see yourself doing these things, it is time to stop and really learn how to care for yourself and honor the body you were given.  Learn to nourish your body with quality food, rest and pleasureable activities. Approaching food from this perspective is what will get your weight in a better place if that's your issue.  It will improve your self-image, enouraging you to pursue things you might have put off for lack of energy or motivation.

Quality food changes everything.  It gives you the energy and  desire to care for yourself in all areas -  reducing stress, energizing your relationships, and a clarifying your life purpose.

I received my training to practice Health Counseling at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories—combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and raw foods.

Today the average 60 year old consumes a combination of 12 medications and supplements daily, each with their own side effects and expense. When you are ready to commit to a life of natural health, and know that this is achievable through conscious attention and the support of a health coach, you quickly learn that medications and surgery are not inevitable.  You can be  the trailblazer who will show the world that consistent simple practices with your food and self-care will keep you on a healthy path.

If this kind of work  resonates with you, I invite you to contact me today to schedule a free, no obligation consultation to talk about your specific health concerns and to learn more about my 6 month program. I can be reached by phone at 508-359-6804 or by pressing on the contact button at the top of the menu bar.
