As a college Freshman this coming September, you will be faced with many exciting experiences - new friends, new living conditions, new learning experiences, and lots of freedom.

With freedom comes unlimited choices, all of which come from your ability to make decisions for yourself.

The Freshman Fifteen refers to the common experience of gaining 15 pounds over the course of your first year in college. This does not have to happen!

In this workshop we will examine a number of ways in which you can easily stock your dorm room with foods that are delicious, nouirishing and energizing, so you won't have to rely on heavy simple starches that fill you up but cause weight gain and fatigue.

When put into practice, this way of eating will make life easy and enjoyable for you.  We'll look at cravings and what they mean as well as how to eliminate the ones that cause weight gain.

Fee is $20 which includes workshop and handouts. Food samples too!
