Is Vegetarian Best for Everyone?

I am just completing a 30 day vegetarian eating plan for myself to see if that would be a good way of eating for me. I've had plenty of energy. but by last week, I found it started getting pretty boring. Having an eating plan that isn't satisfying is a sure-fire setup for getting into junk food, just because of boredom. So I'm finding that for me, I'm better off putting a little bit of seafood or poultry back onto my plate.

 Hi Peg.  I just want to email you quickly to report how good I feel by eliminating so many "bad" things from my diet!  I remember hearing before that so much of the stuff we eat causes inflammation in our bodies.  I actually thought I might be developing arthritis in my knees and hands because they were so achy.  In just 2 days the my stiff and achy joints are now feeling normal again!  Amazing!

One of the more exciting and promising things that seems to be emerging in healthcare is what I’ve been hoping for - a deeper sense of inclusion of the patient and the community in the health of all individuals. None of us can be healthy alone.

 If you need to get on an airplane to connect with your loved ones over the Holidays, here are some tips to make travel easy:

1. Avoid checking your bag if you can. 

2. Use transparent bags for liquids and gels:  remember TSA's 3-1-1 rule: 3 ounce containers, 3 oz. liquid or gel maximum, and contain them in 1 qt. size tansparent bag 

3. pre-check your flight status often. If there are schedule changes you won't be surprised

4. Use package plans if you're not staying with family. It's easier and usually cheaper to bundle.

 If you have been thinking about going vegetarian, there is growing evidence of its benefits. Here are just a few:
